Rachel K's Bakery started in 2010 at the Saturday Market in downtown Washington, NC.   We began selling handmade pastries, cinnamon buns, and hearth breads each Saturday throughout the spring and summer months, and eventually spread to selling in both Washington and Greenville's Farmer's Markets.


In mid-2013, we opened up a shared space with a coffee shop, located near the hospital.    In late summer 2014, we had the opportunity to purchase a historic building in downtown Washington.   We spent six months renovating the building, and reopened our doors in March 2015 with a brand new coffee menu, a full pastry and bread counter, and an ever-expanding lunch menu.


In just 5 short years, we have transformed from a home-based, one- woman operation, into a full-size retail operation employing over a dozen people.   Come check us out and find out what we have on offer today!
